This blog has been designed for the sole purpose of sharing a pure love of books. This love of mine stems back to when I was just a young girl through the main man in my life, my dad (see: https://sarakettleborough.wordpress.com/2015/02/18/well-this-is-new/).

Over the last year, more than ever, books and reading have provided me with a place to go when the real world has left me surrounded by the darkness and devastation that ensues when dealing with loss, sorrow and grief.

A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.” – George R. R. Martin

My dad and I lived a thousand lives together sharing our true love of books. And for every single one of those lives, I cannot explain to you how grateful I am.

Enjoy. S x

    1. Hi Angie. Thank you very much for the comment and the follow! I’m loving putting my thoughts down on paper more formally and I’m enjoying reading a wider range of books than I usually would too! I hope you enjoy my reviews and if you’ve read any of the same books I have I’d love to know what you thought! Sara

  1. Hi Sara, Forgive me if it says so on the site somewhere, but do you consider reading ebooks as well as physical? Judging by the books you’ve reviewed here I’m hoping you might like to take a look at my thriller, TOURIST TRAP – and in any case I’d be very interested to know what you made of it.

Either way, it’s a great blog – and a lovely reminder of how our families can inspire a lifelong devotion to reading. Many thanks.

    1. Hi David. Thanks for your comment. Yes, I definitely do read ebooks on my Kindle as well as physical copies of books. I’d love to have a look at your novel and see what I thought. Let me know how best to make this work. Thanks, Sara
